Contact Sports

In contact sports, like football, it is the player that creates the greatest power through momentum and stability at the point of contact that is the strongest.

The guy with the most power and stability at the point of contact wins.

What you will learn is that the proper S-shape spine gives the most effective range of motion to work through to develop power.

The proper S-shape is able to develop more momentum through it's range of motion, thus more power.

Uses 1st class lever action with fewer parts.  At the end of the movement, compressive forces are created strengthening the movement.

The improper spinal posture cannot develop the same momentum because of it's smaller range of motion.

Uses 3rd class lever action with more parts.  At the end of the movement, shearing forces are created weakening the movement.

What you will learn is at the point of contact: It is the spine with the best mechanical advantage that is the strongest.
