What you will learn...
Lever System Analysis
Human movement is essentially performed by muscle pulling on bones that articulate at joints, which defines a functioning lever system.
Current teaching of lever systems is erroneous and should be done away with.
There are only two functional lever systems: 1st Class, and 3rd Class. 1st class lever systems are characterized by compression stabilization force. 3rd class lever systems are characterized by shear dislocation force.
You will learn that they are functionally defined as to how they are functioning at their mutual fulcrum point.
You will learn about the forces created by lever systems which are compression and/or shear and how they function in the 1st and 3rd class lever. |
