Home study continuing education providers in biomechanics of human movement  with emphasis on biomechanical muscular skeletal levers and lever systems physics. Special concern:  Athletic spinal development in children and child safety in youth sports programs.

You will learn jumping analysis to help identify proper versus improper posture.

When jumping vertically, an individual with a properly aligned neutral posture will land in the same spot. 

When jumping vertically, an individual with an improperly aligned neutral posture will land forward of their take off point.

 

You will learn how to analyze breathing to help identify proper versus improper posture.

When taking a deep breath with proper posture, the lower back will present with concavity and relaxed musculature.

 

When taking a deep breath with improper posture, the lower back will be straight with enlarged and firm musculature.

You will learn how to analyze neck movement in order to identify proper versus improper spinal posture.

 

Proper posture, when turning the head will lead with the eyes.

 

  Improper posture, when turning the head will lead with the chin.
