Biomechanics Human Movement Levers and Leverage

Home study continuing education providers in biomechanics of human movement with emphasis on biomechanical muscular skeletal levers and lever systems physics. Special concern: Athletic spinal development in children and child safety in youth sports programs.

Home Care Program

Our program focuses on patient self management.

After completion of our program, you should be able to maintain a healthy spine with minimal help from us.  Our home care support includes passive and active exercises.  These exercises are part of our home care program.

Passive Home Exercise

Preparation of towels:

Use a regular sized bath towel.

  1. Fold down the middle of towel (A).

  2. Fold towel in thirds with a 1" space in the middle (B & C).

  3. Roll towel firmly to form lumbar and cervical support roll (D & E).

Note:  Towel exercises should be done in the morning and in the evening.  They may be done more often, but not longer than 15-20 minutes unless directed otherwise.  The lower back towel should be 1" above the hip bone.

There are other exercises that can be performed at home.  Click our exercises page which will lead you to videos of these exercises.
