Massage

Now more than ever, people are receiving therapeutic massage as a means of relaxation and to reduce daily stress.  Therapeutic massage helps to reduce their everyday tensions, aches and pains.

Each year consumers spend between $4-$6 billion on massage and visit licensed massage practitioners 114 million times according to the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA).

More and more people are using massage as means of an adjunct to therapy and rehabilitation.   Advanced massage techniques can help in the recovery from soft tissue damage resulting from all types of injuries such as:

  • Auto accidents
  • On-the-job injuries
  • Sports injuries
  • Daily aches and pains
  • Weekend warrior strains

Massage is used by our clients to aid in the rehabilitation of soft tissue damage.  In conjunction with our physical therapy, massage will increase the extensibility of muscle fibers to enhance the benefit from the chiropractic adjustment and exercise portion of our program.

There are many benefits from massage therapy:

  • There is an increase in circulation throughout the body.

  • Recovery from injury is enhanced.

  • Patients are able to maintain their active lifestyles by investing in their health with monthly massage appointments.
